REFLECTIONS IN BLUE AND RED. Taken from the south pontoon looking across to the north pontoon one Saturday night when the harbour was busy, the late sun reflecting the vivid blue of the sky contrasting with the colours of the boats and their reflections.
REFELCTING ON BEACH HUTS archtypical east copats scene and brightlingsea's treasure this picture showed twice the huts and is almost perfect if the orientation is flipped!

SMACK UP FOR A SCRUB Taken from just behind the Hardmaster's hut, a lovely tall mast and deep reflection in the water. This picture looks good cropped tall and narrow

THE SMACK DOCK. Taken from the furthest point along the plank, which is an extension of the walkway. Looking back towards CYC over the dinghy rack. I'm flattered to be able to tell you that Alan Coleman the doyen of local artists created a warm glow, when he used this picture as a model (albeit with modification) for his recent wonderful painting The SMACK DOCK.
REFLECTED DINGHY RACK taken from just inside the Boat park, you don't get many of these, early morning, brilliant sun, not a zephyr of wind, high tide, and no people !
up_for_an_early-scrub.jpg windless_evening.jpg
UP FOR AN EARLY MORNING SCRUB. Taken from the top of the t/c not a lot of doubt as to why I took this one, the scrubbing posts can't help but feature in any picture but to appear twice is selfish and as Morecambe used to say to Wise, ̉Ernie.. can you see the join ̉
WINDLESS EVENING just about says it all really, but the framing clouds were a bonus on this one
