mark oliphant college: masters research

INTRO

we seemed to cover a lot in our time together - I thought it would be helpful to collect much of what i covered in a series of links for everyone studying for the masters degree, from the other schools too

this page is that collection - hope it is useful

THE INITIAL KEYNOTE SLIDES

including the handy whiteboard diagram of research approaches

SOME OF THE SLIDES AND IMAGES WE VIEWED

we looked at lots! some of it is here:

more of the images and ideas on my Pinterest board - you don't need to join Pinterest to look, just to contribute or have your own boards.

CHAT WITH JULIETTE

Juliette Heppell has been a friend of MOC for some time, and her student led research project to develop a new classroom, for children by children, was the subject of an earlier Skype call (link to her free iBook about it will go here) - for the masters we asked her to reflect on her own second masters degree which looked at student voice, but with a pragmatic "how did you get it done and why" focus.

we never did get the video to stream from her end - middle-of-the-night-ish presumably! - but the audio was helpful anyway - and here it is as an audio recording:

juliette

and for those of you pursuing a Learner Voice research project:
